AGN ENERGIA FOR CULTURE
AGN ENERGIA’s cultural promotion work has always targeted the areas it works in for the purpose of encouraging talent and opportunities for artistic and cultural work sharing.
What follows highlights certain specific initiatives to which the group has contributed.
LITERATURE FESTIVAL - MANTUA
The festival is an event which the group has now been sponsoring for many years and is a great and tangible success in cultural participation terms: five days of meetings with authors, readings, shows and concerts with musicians from all over the world.
LITERATURE CELEBRATES ENCOUNTER
This is an event which attempts to establish a more direct contact between writer and readers, experimenting with new dialogue, exchange and research methods.
Alongside more traditional encounters over the years guided cultural and historical heritage itineraries in the town have been organised.
NETWORK MISA
AGN ENERGIA takes part in the MISA – Museo Internazionale di Scultura per le Aziende – International Sculpture for Companies Museum - network. This is a work-in-progress museum which presents the work of a series of international level contemporary artists who are especially active in Italy within selected firms.
The various MISAs highlight the role of art patronage testifying to a tradition which has made Italy so unique and today generates new art reference points at this current historical juncture.
ECO-SUSTAINABILITY ON DISPLAY IN THE VENETO REGION
I.RO.P., one of our Veneto offices, in Arquà Polesine, transformed for the day into an art exhibition centre which subsequently branched out into the town hall.
The purpose of the event was to develop the eco-sustainability theme.
The work chosen -Tecnototem by Lorenzo Malfatti - is a great antenna which captures and channels sunlight, depicting it as an inexhaustible source of energy.
PAINTING EXHIBITION IN FLORENCE PROVINCE
At our Tuscan base (ex Florengas), at Campi Bisenzio near Florence a large painting and sculpture exhibition has been organised of the work of a range of artists.
The work chosen for this exhibition - the first to be positioned - is a sculpture by Brunivo Buttarelli IL MEM FLORENGAS.
Made especially for the site, it is a flame releasing energy via rays made up of fluorescent tubes.
